So what do you think? Is there any salvation in this even if the animation is bad? Taking into account the team behind the sound, direction, script...?

We already know about the animation being bad. But is there a chance that the adaptation will still be acceptable? Like, if even with the bad animation, the script and rhythm are good, the sound, and the way it's conducted is somewhat coherent, is there a chance that it could be good? Of course I say this analyzing the team behind the anime, Does this team know how to conduct anime scripts coherently? Because depending on how this continues throughout the episodes, perhaps, even if it is something almost impossible, this doesn't end up being so disappointing.

Im assuming the score will float somewhere around a 8.27 - 8.42. which is nothing bad at all. Will be interesting to see once it airs

Looking at what the direction (director and series composition, and one of them is probably also the script writer) has made in the past, I'm expecting this adaptation to be carried by the source (if it's really as good as people have made it out to be), and therefore quite disappointing for source readers but not too bad for anime only people.
Pretty much like Kikansha no Mahou, which had the same guy do series composition. In that case, the animation sucked, the pacing was a bit off (kinda slow), the script lacked drama and impact, and the music was passable.

I trust, the animation will be trash but they'll animate incredibly some fight one the last episode and it will get a second season (I'm not delusional)

There was just a lack of overall movement in the trailer.

Does it help? Sure. Did Mushoku Tensei look good, at times? Yeah.
But I think that's generaly not what makes people love the Genre and there are tons of similar Anime that didn't need to rely on a big studio to draw people in. That Spider-Show or Eminence in Shadow come to mind.
Don't give up, boys.

Although the animation might be a bit of a disappointment(emphasis on might), the storyline and characters will distinguish it from the other generic isekai. I don't know if it will get up to an 8, though. I think the MAL score will range from 7-7.75 at best.

Also, TBATE wasn't targeted to a japan market, so it getting an anime is fortunate, to be honest. At the very least, it can make people likely to turn to the source material.

The animation will turn most people off from watching it.Honestly just looks like most generic isekai nowadays.

It might still be alright if the story is good enough to carry it, but yeah, it's likely going to have animation on par with typical trash seasonals.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

studio a-cat isn't known for delivering any sakuga animation or anything remotely considered good yet, abandon any hope even if its .5% because it's just not possible with that disgusting studio 😭

way too high, the story at the beginning is already generic asf as is and identical to mushoku tensei, the 'good animation' is what's needed to carry this slow part of the story out
without that, you're basically getting the same slop that you get every season with newer isekai. I do expect the rating to be higher, but nothing more than a 7.5, even then I think a 7.5 is being generous lol

In recent season we had the same situation with ENGI adapting Medalist, but they delivered really well. This time it's even worse studio but I will wait for episodes before judging how bad it is.

Why aren't you all waiting for the first episode? What's the point of speculation? Even if the animation isn't superb,I feel like if they don't rush the story and stay true to the source the anime will be quite passable, regardless of the animation. I'm surprised enough that Tbate is getting an anime anyway, I would have never expected that.

The trailer is looking not that bad. I think the animation will be alright. Not every studio has the animation qualities like MAPPA or ufotable. The expectations are nowadays a bit too high. This is just a trailer, there is no need to judge an whole anime that even doesn't aired yet just by the trailer. So we will be good when we wait for the first three episodes and judge after finishing watching them. I'm looking forward for this anime and I'm ready for an entertaining anime.

from the trailer i just watched,it doesn't look even close to mushoku tensei. the song, the animation, the vibe and everything..i thought it would be a cool adaptation since everyone keeps talking crazy about it. it's just another flop isekai anime
